After being approached by her spin instructor in 2010, Alicia decided to become a certified Spinning Instructor through Madd Dogg Athletics. That same year she was introduced to Nola Pilates. “I knew from the moment I walked into the door that this was not just an ordinary studio… something magical was happening here, and I knew that I wanted to be a part of it.”
Alicia began teaching Spin at Nola Pilates and later fell in love with Xtend Barre, leading her to her Xtend Barre certification in 2011. Through the years following college, she’s exhausted nearly every workout format available including weight training, distance running and group fitness classes. In an effort to mix up her workout routine, Ashley discovered Xtend Barre after moving to New Orleans and immediately became “addicted,” especially because it seemed to integrate and compliment many dance principles. Amazed by the results she’s seen, she took on the extra mind-body challenge of becoming an Xtend instructor herself in 2015.
Ashley is a public relations and marketing professional in her full-time career with the state government, so it was only fitting that Kim suggest she fill the Director of Community Development position. In this role, Ashley manages the Nola Pilates/Xtend Barre brand and is typically active on your Facebook messenger 20 of the 24 hours in a day.
Ashley is engaged to be married to finance Jordan in November 2018 and is eager to further her fitness education after the big day.
Bridget has always been involved in gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, coaching and maintaining an active lifestyle. While pursuing her chemical engineering degree at the University of Louisiana Lafayette, she was a Ragin’ Cajuns Cheerleader.
While working offshore in the oil and gas industry, Bridget struggled to find a gym that could accommodate the hectic on-call lifestyle of an engineer, as well as a workout that could be done on the go with little equipment and space on drilling rigs. She discovered Xtend Barre in 2011 at the former Lafayette, LA studio and was immediately hooked. “Xtend Barre offers such a diverse range of classes, including barre, TRX, circuit, and pilates, so I’m never bored or complacent in my workouts. The 55-minutes fly by because of the great instructors and the fun class atmosphere!” When traveling for work, Bridget was never without her TRX straps, barre socks, and stretchy band.
After moving to New Orleans for work in 2017, Bridget was overjoyed to join Nola Pilates as a client and continue to do the workouts she had made into her daily lifestyle, while also incorporating new ones. Her more-structured work schedule now allowed for her to become an instructor – a goal she had for years. “I hope to bring to the table the same dynamic and exciting workouts that I’ve fallen in love with as a client, with some new challenges!”
Though she loved her time working to help members of the military and their families achieve their fitness goals, she is very excited to be back in her hometown and teaching at Nola Pilates again where she believes in the mission to build a stronger New Orleans! To further that mission, she obtained her TRX certification in 2015.
She moved back to Lakeview in 2014 and attended her first class at Nola Pilates, where she fell in love with the studio and the people. Soon after she decided to get her first certification in TRX. Claire is excited to continue her exercise education and is looking forward to getting her Pilates Mat Certification.
Courtney has always had a deep-rooted enthusiasm for health and fitness, and after overcoming cancer at age 25, she’s become even more passionate about her own health and helping others achieve balance between mind, body and spirit.
Courtney discovered the incredible benefits of Xtend Barre in 2012 and has been hooked ever since. She says, “I’m obsessed with the incredibly quick results that this low-impact, high-intensity, total-body workout yields. And the best part? It’s FUN! If you’re looking to lengthen, strengthen, and tone, this needs to be part of your workout regimen.”
She is excited to be partnered with the Nola Pilates team and looks forward to putting her talents to good use to help her clients feel as confident, beautiful and strong she believes each of them are.
Erin loves bringing an athletic approach to her classes and private sessions as an added challenge and contemporary focus to the practice of Pilates. She loves to see the changes in strength and alignment in her clients, and has seen an improvement in her own mobility as a runner from her personal practice.
When not at the studio, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and two daughters, ages 6 and 2.
She hopes that her classes get people out of their heads and into their bodies. She believes that by quieting the mind, we can listen to our hearts and follow our truth.

Megan has a lifelong movement background in dance. She moved to New York from Louisiana to study dance and business at Marymount Manhattan College. Megan began her practice of pilates as a cross-training and injury prevention method to balance the intense demands of studying at the Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance post collegiately.
As a hyper-mobile body, very quickly Megan was amazed by being able to connect to deep muscles and the concepts of alignment and core strength she’d been taught for years but never able to totally grasp. Completely converted to the method, Megan is a Master Instructor certified at the Kane School of Core Integration and continues to pursue continuing education courses to keep her mind moving and to be able to teach diverse bodies.
She has attended special training courses for pre/post natal care, osteoporosis, scoliosis, the foot, the gait, and back pain. Megan is also a certified cycling instructor where she uses her knowledge of alignment to guide her practice. She credits pilates for keeping her wonky joints happy and strong.

I love studying fitness so I can always bring clients the most current information and can to constantly improve the fitness experience for my clients. The biggest reward is always seeing clients work hard and exceed their goals. With Pilates, clients are often shocked at how quickly and dramatically their fitness levels and physique change with consistent hard work.”

I signed up for my first class at Nola Pilates in February of 2010 and was hooked!” Natalie became certified to teach Pilates Mat, Reformer and Xtend Barre classes. “Since I did not end up teaching children, I thought this would be a way to satisfy that need to teach.” Natalie feels Xtend Barre gives you that “runner’s high” with additional muscle toning.
